I saw that last night. The wife had wanted to stay there several times but we never did. I showed her the article and the reviews and needless to say, I am pretty certain she has decided against it. Not a lot of the motels in Pigeon Forge are much worth staying in.

We about stayed there in November. Thank God that didn't happen. We went down late one Friday and decided not to fight traffic at stayed at the Fairfield Inn next to Bass Pro. Very nice. Also has a shuttle service to UT games during football season at the hotel. Very good deal. We generally rent a cabin from Eagles Ridge, and they are generally kept very well.

Cabins are the only way to go down there. Everything else is super dirty.

Even then it's hit or miss.
Had a coworker rent a cabin down there, and it was a major FAIL. She said it was so dirty she couldnt set her kid down. They went to a motel instead.
    You'll shoot your eye out.

I agree, although that Fairfield was very nice, but its kind of expected and they weren't down in the heart of PF. We did use Cabins USA once. That was a mistake I won't make again.

Holy **** I have stayed at the Polynesian and the Grand. The best Senior trip parties ever at the Polynesian. Some boys from Coeburn stayed there to in the mid 90's to.
